Hush a bit

Posted by Jules on October 31, 2008

I know you’re all concerned, but you really don’t need to ask me every single day, “How is he?” blablablaaa… only a few know what happened recently, but still. You know. Thanks for caring, but please… Nothing new will happen THAT soon, it’s still only a month since the accident and less than a week since u-know-what. Why ask so often? I mean, seriously? What really happens so immediate anyway? Snap of a finger and hey, problem’s solved? Pfft~

And also, I appreciate the advices, I really do. But I can make do without ppl stating the obvious over and over. “Hey u better do this this and that”. Duhh… I know THAT already. Like as though I’m not upset enough as it is without the constant reminders. I’m trying to be strong here, it’s hard, so help me. If you know me well enough, you’d understand that I will rant and vent about things if I want to without you asking me. Just take it easy on the concerns…

Thanks.

Yummy salmon~

Posted by Jules on October 27, 2008

Met up with Jo for lunch at the last minute on Saturday. I treated her to Sakae Sushi (cause I’m getting a confirmation increment soon) :P We seldom have similar tastes in food (especially when I can be super picky) but this time it was fun cause we share the same fondness for salmon =D And so we had a “salmon meal” as we call it lol.

Salmon sashimi, salmon sushi, salmon maki… Then there’s also baby octopus, california roll, cawanmushi, lotus root chips… Yummy~! Too bad no photos to show, cause I did not bring my camera. I guess I could use the phone’s camera, right? But we were too hungry that we just gobbled everything up quickly XD It was nice… Just a simple lunch with my darling girlfriend :)

Birthday wishlist? or not…

Posted by Jules on October 26, 2008

Okie, only about 3 weeks til my birthday. I’m turning 24, omg… Isn’t that like, officially into the mid-20s? Hmm so what’s in my wishlist this time around?

……

……….

Ok, I was trying to be practical haha. Else I’d just end up with a list for money, cash, monies and moolah again like this post right here XD meh… I dunno, I don’t feel like wanting anything right now. Just want to go out to chill and party-party with good music and lots of booze. So… yeah, come on come on, let’s go clubbing laaaaa >.<

Speaking of which, halloween is coming up. Sounds like an awesome time to go party? But the thought of the crowd kind of worries me a bit :P See how it goes, if I could somehow round up a few peeps.

RUN! zzz…

Posted by Jules on October 23, 2008

Some of you may know that I seldom get a full soundless sleep at night cause I am an active dreamer. Having dreams almost every night may not seem to be a problem if they are peaceful dreams. But no! MY dreams have to involve a lot of running around! For example! (from the dreams that I do remember)

#1:
The falling dream. Everyone has this before, right? I get this a lot of times and everytime I wake up with my heart racing and I breathe hard.

#2:
Some weirdo was somehow trying to hurt me by whacking me with a hammer and then a bowling ball(!), so naturally, I ran for my safety trying to avoid him. It was a long game of hide & seek, and I wondered why nobody was helping me cause people are passing by like any other day. Too bad that he’s a maniac, cause he was quite a good-looking fellow. How that ended, I don’t remember.

#3:
Was cycling in a park peacefully when suddenly another weirdo just came chasing me with a knife in his hand. Dunno why, instead of cycling away, I got off the bike and ran =_=;; I grabbed a stick and swung with all my might, but apparently I’m strength-less in dreams and only brushed him with the stick. So I ran again, up the stairs of a flat building. He lashed the knife at me and I grabbed his wrist. Swiftfully, he rotated the blade around and slashed my fingers. I let go in pain and ran again. I don’t remember what happened next.

#4:
Some sort of an error that caused a humongous explosion. Everyone was running for dear life from the toxic smoke and debris. I dunno why my brother was so small in this dream, like 10 years old lol. I lost my family in the crowd. I called Calvin and found out where he was to spend the final moments with him before everybody supposedly dies from the toxic explosion. So I ran all the way to where he was. Dunno why, all that chaos and not a vehicle in sight that I had to find a person by foot! I eventually found him, but before I could see his face, the darn alarm clock went off!

#5:
This was just last night. Holiday by the sea, or water theme park, or something like that. Friends, fun, water… Whatever the place was. Anyway I was in the changing room (I think), when I heard a strange rumbling sound, like water rushing. It got louder by the second and there were screams from outside the room. OMG what’s happening? Then water gushed in through the corridors outside the room, broke the windows and flooding the room half full in an instant! Major pipe burst? Tsunami? I dunno! I swimmed and swimmed but all silly ol’ me could think of doing was to find my phone to call Calvin to tell him one last time that I love him lol. Before the current carried me off/ Before I drowned/ Whatever… The alarm went off, perfect timing!

Dramatic, right? I swear I’m not making this up! I would record all this in video if I could. Some of you may think, hey it’s kinda fun to be having such adventures in dreams. On the contrary! It takes a toll on my energy cause I wake up feeling mentally tired from all that “running”. Sleeping time means rest for the whole body, but I ain’t getting no rest if I keep dreaming like this!

Does anybody know how to control dreams? (’_')

Disturbia

Posted by Jules on October 21, 2008

I just saw Rihanna’s video of “Disturbia”. True to the title, it IS rather disturbing… Maybe it’s just me, but I find it a little freaky haha. But still not as freaky as Evanescense’s “Going under” video. Yeesh… *shivers*

New layout… again!

Posted by Jules on October 20, 2008

Yea yea, I changed the theme again after using that one for less than a week lol. The previous photo frames one was nice, but “nice” does not quite suit my style. I need something “cool”.. no, I need something “coooooooool” and I think I may have finally found the right one. What do you think? It’s dark, with hints of my favorite reds, punk-ish yet not fierce. Huh? Huh? Huh? This is it? XD

Dedication for my October siblings! My big sister Jolene 2 days ago (15th) and my kid brother Joey tomorrow (18th). Happy birthday to both of them! They’re both such greats siblings, they ought to be on a billboard or something for all to appreciate! Hey, you know what? Why not XD

Here’s a clue… You know the lunar calender, the 12 animals cycle thingie? Well, they are born on the same animal but a whole cycle around XD Yup, same star sign, same chinese zodiac. Go figure!

Don’t worry, you did not visit the wrong blog lol. I finally changed my blog theme to a widget-ready one. The previous theme was so outdated that it didn’t support widgets lol. I want to know if people do visit the blog, so I changed to theme. And now I’ve added a Cbox! Also known as the ‘SpamBox’ or ‘ShoutBox’… Whatever you like to call it. Feel free to spam it =D

Btw, how does the new theme look? Suit me? Comments please!

what the…

Posted by Jules on October 14, 2008

My dad just told me what he read in today’s newspaper. I’m a little furious that the country’s standard of education has dropped so pathetically, all thanks to the ridiculously lenient education ministry. I’m telling you, the education system is getting more screwed up each year. If this goes on, what kind of students will we teach in the future?

What was the news? Believe it or not, the passing mark for SPM is now 35 only. Back in my day, it used to be 50 or 60! (I don’t remember exactly) It’s like, anyone could just easily pass a paper by just taking an effortless shot! If that wasn’t enough, A1 is now 71 and above. That answers the question on how kids these days manage to score 16 A1s. Is that what the standard is now? Lower the marks so that students will easily pass the big exams? Ptooie!!

What bullshit…

Dance dance

Posted by Jules on October 13, 2008

Was at Jaya One on Saturday after work, with Calvin. They were having some breast cancer awareness event going on (it’s October again!). In conjuction, Viva Vertical had a demo thingie (VV is the first and so far only pole dancing lesson in the country). I’ve always been curious and had briefly thought about joining. So it was exciting to be able to watch a demo. Guess what? Ack~! I was dragged to be one of the volunteers @_@ I was so embarassed! So many people watching, nyuuu >.<

Ok, I consider myself to be quite a good dancer, I should think? Cause previously as a newbie clubber, my ex-colleagues thought that I go clubbing very often (it was only my 3rd time). Also in line dancing class, I was the only one who didn’t have problems understanding and remembering the choreography. But! As good a dancer that I MAY be, pole dancing is SO not easy! Other dances just require you to follow the beat and move your body to the music. But pole dancing involves a POLE in which you have to be strong enough to support yourself! Climbing, swinging, hanging… Talk about acrobatic shit, wei. Definitely something totally new. I managed to pull it off but I think I did it miserably haha. Malu la, a complex full of strangers watching me >.< Meh…

Nevertheless, it was quite fun =P I’m now seriously considering to join FitPole classes!
